User Guideline: Fluid Offered – Flexible Measurement

R
Written by Romi Witjaksono

Description

The Custom Amount feature allows users to record a flexible fluid offered amount when completing fluid intake care notes. Instead of selecting only predefined values, users can now define a custom fluid amount using a slider input, providing more accurate and personalised fluid recording.

Why It Matters

  • Improves accuracy when recording fluid intake and fluid offered amounts.

  • Provides greater flexibility compared to fixed predefined measurements.

  • Helps ensure fluid monitoring reflects actual amounts offered and consumed.

  • Supports better hydration tracking and care monitoring.

  • Enhances documentation quality within fluid-related care notes.

  • Automatically aligns the maximum “Fluid Drunk” value with the selected “Fluid Offered” amount to improve data consistency.
