How to Find all Resident Weights and Observations

Written by Rachel Martin

To find records of all residents weights and observations you can navigate to Analysis - Resident Observations.

The Resident Observations chart provides a record of all observations taken for each Service User for the selected month and year, including a breakdown for the previous six months of weights.

The Resident Observations report is beneficial when needing information to:

  • Provide evidence of observations and weights being recorded when performing audits for inspections

  • Track and respond to any changes in weight for a Service User, to mitigate health concerns

Figures in Amber with a single chevron show any months where weight loss over the 6 month period is between 1% and 5%. Red with two chevrons indicate over 5%.

Only service users who are over the age of 65 will show with the indication (due to the potential impact of weight loss to the elderly)

Observations shown in bold are those that have been recorded in the current month

The weights will display the most recent weight in the month (so if a resident has been weighed multiple times in a single month, the chart will display the last one recorded for the month)

It is possible to click on a weight figure to see the care note recorded.

Clicking the details button will provide further information on the care note, including performing additional actions such as voiding or correcting the care note.
