Written by Rachel Martin

When new pictures are taken through the care app on your device they can then be found on the 'Dashboard' within Monitor. You can follow the below instructions to locate this area.

1) On the left hand side of your screen you will first need to select the 'Dashboard' button.

2) Scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see 'New Pictures'. From there you can save them to a service user's private or social album.

3) Any general photos taken will appear in the 'Recent Pictures' area while any wound photos taken on the handset via the wound photo function will appear in 'Recent wound pictures'.

4) In order to save a photo to a residents private/social album you will click to click on the 3 horizontal lines next to the picture.

5) You will then get a drop down menu appear for you where you will get a few different options to choose from:

  • 'Save to this location album' - This will save the image on the dashboard itself and will appear on the right hand side under the 'Saved Pictures' heading.

  • 'Save to a persons private album' - This will allow you to save the photo into the residents private album. The private album cannot be viewed by any external sources and will require manual access from within the home. You can save wound images within this section for example for auditing purposes in the future.

  • 'Save to a persons social album' - The public album can be viewed by relatives if Relatives Gateway has been set up for the home/organisation.

  • 'Save to a persons documents' - Choosing this option will allow you to save the picture to the residents 'Scanned Documents' section of their profile. Once selected an option will appear to choose the name of the resident and then ask you if you are sure you want to save this photo there.

  • 'Make a person's profile picture' - Selecting this option will bring up a new menu which lists all of the residents in the home. Once you select the residents name you will get another box that appears asking to confirm to set this image as the profile image.

  • 'Delete picture' - Selecting this option will allow you to permanently delete this photo from the system. A notification box will then appear asking if you are sure that you want to delete this picture. Deleted photos cannot be recovered.

  • 'Open for printing' - This will allow you to print the photo via your internet browser.

Please bear in mind that any picture taken which is not saved will be permanently deleted from the system after 28 days. These cannot be recovered and it is recommended to save any photos to residents profiles.
