Guide - How to set up ResHub to mCare data sharing

If you have integration on ResHub (Lifestyle package) you may want care notes from Lifestyle activities to feed into mCare, you will need to action the following steps.

Steps for Customers:

  1. Ensure Admin Access on mCare – Only Admin users can retrieve the API key. If you don’t have admin access, please ask your manager to complete this action.

  2. Ensure Admin Access on StaffHub – Only Admin users can retrieve the API key. If you don’t have admin access, please ask your manager to complete this action.

  3. Find your API Key in mCare

    • Click on the ‘Admin’ button (cog icon to the right of the ‘Links’ tab) and then go to Organisation Details.

    • Select your Home from the list. This will row with a blue background. Ensure that the care home being selected has a Reshub Integration available shown in the right hand column.

    • Once within your home / community settings page, click on the cog next to 'Generic API’.

  • Locate the Internal API Key field (1). This is unique to your home. See image. Ensure status is turned on (2) and that Reshub is integrated already, ResHub, should be listed under Active Services (3). See image.

  • If ResHub is not listed under active services, please expand and switch toggle on for ResHub

  • Copy your Internal API Key

4. Next, go to ResHub StaffHub > Settings > Facility

  • Next scroll down to Integrations

  • Paste in your Internal API Key

  • Scroll back up and click save
