The Emotional Support chart lists any emotional support care notes entered for a Resident over the selected time period. The chart enables you to review any patterns of behaviour or changes in emotional support needs over time and provides details on how of the behaviours exhibited were resolved.
The Emotional Support Chart is beneficial when needing information to:
Review and discuss with Staff trends in Resident behaviour and resolution or interventions recorded
Ensure that Residents on emotional watch are being treated accordingly and appropriate resolutions are being used
The information displayed in the Emotional Support chart is automatically generated from the care actions recorded on the Care app or captured through the Daily notes in Monitor, under the Emotional Support care action category (excluding the Social Worker care action).
The Details button next to each care action recorded can be clicked to display further information on the care note. If additional care notes were recorded at the same time as the Emotional Support care action, these will also be displayed.
The details button can then be clicked to display further details on the individual care note and perform further actions such as voiding or correction the care note.
Past service users will also get included in the chart automatically, by changing the date range, the list of service users in the Select service user drop-down will update to reflect who was active in the home at that time (even if they were there for just one day out of the date range).
The data shown in the report will also work in the same way, and show data for all service users who were present in the home at the time (when using the "All service users" option in the Select service user drop-down).
There are some additional filters which change the information displayed on the chart: ο»Ώ
People on emotional watch only β When enabled, only Residents who are on an emotional watch will be displayed in the chart
Care Action Specific β Each Emotional Support care action can be enabled or disabled as required (Excluding the Social Worker and Emotional Support care actions), to allow for greater granularity in reporting. By default, all care actions are enabled.
