The Outstanding Reviews page provides a clear, consolidated view of reviews that are due or overdue for service users. It helps teams monitor outstanding actions, prioritise reviews, and ensure timely completion to support well-managed care.

The Outstanding Reviews page can be accessed from:

Outstanding Reviews - Deep Dive

The Outstanding Reviews page displays reviews that are due or overdue based on the filters you apply. When first opened, the page loads in an initial state with no data shown until filters are selected.

Key capabilities include:

  • Viewing outstanding reviews across the service

  • Reviewing review cycles by day or period

  • Identifying which service users have reviews due

  • Accessing detailed review documents directly from the list

Initial State (Before Filters Are Applied)

When the Outstanding Reviews page first loads:

  • The Filters section is displayed at the top of the page

  • No review data is shown by default

  • An informational message prompts the user to apply filters

What this shows

A message indicating that no information is available until filters are applied.

Use this to:

  • Understand that filters are required to load results

  • Avoid reviewing incomplete or unintended data

The Filters section allows you to define which outstanding reviews are displayed.

Available filters include:

  • Service User – view reviews for all service users or a specific individual

  • Order by – sort results by service user or review date

  • Include future reviews – optionally include upcoming reviews

Once filters are set, select Apply Filters to load the results.

Use this to:

  • Focus on specific service users

  • Prioritise reviews by a specific preference

  • Tailor the view for operational or management needs

Resident of The Day Review Cycles

Screen 4: Residents of the Day Review Cycles

The Resident of the Day review cycles section displays scheduled review cycles based on the community configuration.

Each column represents a day within the review cycle, showing:

  • The number of residents scheduled for review

  • A View option where applicable

Selecting View opens a pop-up modal showing the service users included in that cycle.

What this shows

An overview of daily or periodic review workloads.

Use this to:

  • Plan and distribute review activities

  • Understand review frequency and capacity

  • Monitor completion against scheduled cycles

Below the review cycles, outstanding reviews are grouped by service user.

Each entry displays:

  • The service user’s name and details

  • The date the review became due

  • A list of outstanding review items

Selecting a review item opens the relevant document or assessment.

What this shows

A detailed list of outstanding reviews linked to individual service users.

Use this to:

  • Quickly access and complete outstanding reviews

  • Understand which reviews are overdue

  • Support timely follow-up and documentation

When a specific service user is selected:

  • The page refreshes to show only reviews linked to that individual

  • Review details are limited to the selected service user

Use this to:

  • Focus on a single service user’s outstanding actions

  • Support targeted review completion

  • Reduce noise when managing large services

When filters are applied and no matching reviews are found:

  • The Filters section remains visible

  • No review data is displayed

  • An informational message confirms that no results are available

What this shows

That no outstanding reviews match the selected criteria or community configuration.

Use this to:

  • Confirm that no reviews are currently outstanding

  • Adjust filters to broaden or refine results

  • Avoid assuming missing data

Navigation and Page Actions

Navigation controls provide quick access to key actions while viewing Outstanding Reviews.

These include:

  • Copy API link – copy report data for sharing or integration

  • Print – print the current view for offline review

  • Return to top – quickly navigate back to the top of the page

Use this to:

  • Share or export review data

  • Print reports for meetings or inspections

  • Navigate efficiently when reviewing large datasets
