1

After submitting the Falls Risk Assessment (Healthcare Ireland), the system provides a mechanism that prompts users to review and confirm whether the assessment content is still relevant when a service user returns from suspension (for example, after returning from hospital) following a suspension period of at least 24 hours.

2

To enable this mechanism, ensure that the setting is turned on (checked) under the Organisation Details --> Customisations Settings.

3

If this setting is not enabled, the mechanism will not be triggered.

4

Once the setting has been enabled, navigate to the relevant community and select the suspended service user.

5

Click on Edit Service User Details to access the suspension settings.

6

In the suspension settings, remove the suspension status from the service user and enter the reason for unsuspending them.

After updating the details, click Save.

7

Following the Skin Integrity Check, a pop-up modal will appear asking whether the Falls Risk Assessment (Healthcare Ireland) should be updated.

8

If No is selected:

  • No further action will be taken.

  • The user will be redirected back to the Service User Details page.

9

If Yes is selected:

  • The updated settings will be saved.

  • The user will be redirected to the Falls Risk Assessment (Healthcare Ireland) assessment page, where they can review and update the assessment content as required.
