The Supervision Analysis report provides a comprehensive overview of staff supervision activity within a selected date range. It helps monitor compliance, review supervision outcomes, and identify missed or overdue supervision sessions.

To access the Supervision Analysis report:

  1. Navigate to Reports

  2. Select Analysis

  3. Under Team

  4. Select Supervision Analysis

Supervision Analysis - Deep Dive

The Supervision Analysis report displays supervision information for staff members within a selected date range.

Key capabilities include:

  • Reviewing supervision activity by worker

  • Monitoring supervision completion rates

  • Viewing completed, planned, and missed supervision sessions

  • Accessing detailed supervision records

  • Navigating directly to worker profiles

  • Monitoring supervision compliance across teams

The report provides both summary-level metrics and detailed supervision information to support management oversight.

Initial State (Before Filters are Applied)

When the Supervision Analysis report first loads:

  • The Filters section is displayed at the top of the page

  • No supervision data is shown by default

  • An informational message prompts you to apply filters

What this shows

That filter criteria must be selected before supervision data can be displayed.

Use this to:

  • Define the reporting period

  • Prepare the report criteria before reviewing results

  • Avoid reviewing incomplete data

The Filters section allows you to configure which supervision records are displayed.

Available filters include:

  • Date From

  • Date To (Inclusive)

After selecting a date range, click Apply Filters to generate the report.

What this shows Control over which supervision records are included within the reporting period.

Use this to:

  • Review supervision activity for a specific timeframe

  • Monitor monthly or quarterly supervision compliance

  • Analyse supervision trends over time

After filters are applied, the report displays a supervision summary for each staff member.

Each worker card includes:

  • Worker name and profile image

  • Employment information

  • Supervision statistics

  • Compliance indicators

  • View Details button

  • View Worker button

The summary provides an at-a-glance overview of supervision performance during the selected period.

Overview of Supervision Analysis Metrics

The report may display the following supervision indicators:

Planned Supervisions

The number of supervision sessions scheduled for the worker.

What this shows

Expected supervision activity within the selected period.

Times Supervisions Are Due

The number of supervision sessions due during the reporting period.

What this shows

Whether required supervision reviews have been scheduled appropriately.

Missed Supervisions

The number of supervision sessions that were not completed.

What this shows

Potential gaps in supervision compliance.

Overall Care Notes

Displays:

  • Total Entered

  • Personalised Notes Percentage

What this shows

The volume and quality of care note recording.

Handover Care Notes

Displays:

  • Total Entered

  • Personalised Notes Percentage

Staff engagement with shift communication documentation.

Planned Care Notes

Displays:

  • Total Entered

Viewing Supervision Details

Selecting View Details expands the worker card to display detailed supervision records.

The detailed table includes:

  • Supervision Review Date

  • Type

  • Staff Member

  • Related supervision information

This allows you to review individual supervision sessions associated with the worker.

What this shows

A detailed breakdown of supervision activity for the selected worker.

Use this to:

  • Review completed supervision sessions

  • Investigate supervision history

  • Support performance reviews and audits

View Worker

Selecting View Worker opens the Staff Details page.

The Staff Details page may include:

  • Personal information

  • Contact details

  • Employment information

  • Role information

  • Training and employment records

What this shows

Direct access to the worker's full profile.

Use this to:

  • Review staff information

  • Confirm employment details

  • Support supervision discussions and follow-up actions

Empty State (No Information Found)

If no supervision records match the selected filters:

  • The Filters section remains visible

  • No supervision data is displayed

  • An informational message confirms that no information is available

What this shows

That no supervision records exist for the selected criteria.

Use this to:

  • Adjust the date range

  • Verify supervision activity exists within the period

  • Refine your reporting criteria

Navigation and Page Actions

  • Copy API Link – copy the report link for sharing or integrations

  • Print – print the current report view

  • Return to Top – quickly navigate to the top of the page

  • Pin – keep the report pinned within your workspace

  • Minimise – collapse the report area
