Why is the Service Users Medical Tile Red?

Written by Rachel Martin

The medical tile on the service users profile will display information for wound/infection care plans and any observations recorded for that service user.

There are two instances that this tile will appear in red, prompting staff that action is required to be taken.

Wound/Infections

In the first instance this tile will appear red if a review is due on a wound and/or infection care plan. It will state for which one is due for review. You will need to click into either of the icons to access the wound or infection care plans created which will then allow you to complete the review.

Observations

If you have completed all reviews for any outstanding wound/infection care plans then the medical tile will appear in green. If this tile still displays in red then this means that there has not been any observations recorded for that service user within the last 28 days. This would display as below:

To resolve this, a staff member in the home will just need to record any observation for the service user. Once this is done and all outstanding wound/infection reviews have been reviewed, the medical tile will then display in green.
