How to Remove or Correct Red Dots on the Body Map in mCare?
The body map feature in mCare is a useful tool for tracking wounds or infections. However, users may occasionally need to remove or correct red dots placed on the body map. This guide provides step-by-step instructions for addressing these issues.
Removing or Correcting Red Dots
1. Removing a Red Dot Before Saving
If the body map entry has not been saved yet, follow these steps:
Tap or click on the red dot again to unselect it.
Place the dot in the correct location and save the entry.
2. Deleting a Red Dot
To delete a red dot from the body map:
Click on the same red dot again to remove it.
Troubleshooting Unselectable Red Dots
If you are unable to unselect or remove a red dot by clicking on it, try the following steps:
Ensure you are clicking exactly on the red dot.
If the dot remains unselectable, close the current wound or infection record and start a new one: - In the wound/infection review for the day, tick the "treatment finished" checkbox at the bottom. - Save the treatment record to close the wound record and move it to the resident’s archived wounds. - Create a new wound care record for the resident and set it as "pre-existing."
Workaround for Persistent Issues
If the original body map selection cannot be removed after saving, the only workaround is to close the current record and create a new one. Follow the steps outlined above to ensure accurate tracking of wounds or infections. By following these steps, you can effectively manage and correct red dots on the body map, ensuring accurate health monitoring and record-keeping.
